Did the Titanic really sink?

There are very few people in the world who are not familiar with the name Titanic. The ship, with a capacity of 3,500 passengers, was the largest ever built. Construction of the Titanic began in 1909, and was completed on April 2, 1912. The Titanic's maximum speed was 21 knots or 39 km per hour due to the roar of two coal-powered steam engines.

Ever since the Titanic was built, plans for the giant ship have been published in various newspapers. And since then, people's curiosity about it was not over. The Titanic was born in Belfast in 1906 to 1912, the year of the tireless work of technologists and craftsmen.

The length of this giant ship was 265 meters. The number of seats was about two thousand. The Titanic, which sailed from Southampton, Britain, was destined for New York, USA Thomas Andrew was the architect of this remarkable pattern in the world of engineering. On the fifth day of the voyage, the passenger cruise sank to the bottom of the Atlantic, proving the wrongdoing of the builders.

1500 passengers lost their lives in the biggest peacetime accident in history. In the wake of the incident, various theories were put forward to explain the fate of the immortal claimed ship. There is still a lack of interest and research into what or who is responsible for such a large number of deaths. Although it was called a general accident, according to many, the Olympic class ship was the victim of a huge conspiracy. Even after 115 years, there is no limit to the curiosity about the events of that night. And from this curiosity various conspiracy theories have been born.

1) The Titanic never sank!

In 1997, Robin Gardner, an Oxford plasterer, published a book. The name of the book is "Titanic: The ship that never sank (?)". In the book, Gardner claims that instead of the Titanic, the Titanic's twin ships sailed to the Olympics that day and sank in the Atlantic Ocean. As an argument, he reviews the events of the years before the Titanic voyage. The Olympics was an exact replica of the Titanic that was released in 1910. The decks of the two ships were made of linoleum to look exactly the same from the outside. Before starting the Titanic voyage, he decided to cover the deck with carpet, according to CEO Bruce Isme. In 1911, a Navy ship (HMS Hawke) collided with the Olympics. According to the report, the ship collided with the Olympics due to the pull of navigability as the ship moved closer to the Olympics. As the HMS Hawk was a warship, its structure was much tougher than the structure of the Olympics, resulting in extensive Olympic damage. The Olympic was blamed for the accident by a shipping ministry investigation. An insurance company called Lloyd's of London confiscated Olympic repair insurance money in the wake of the ruling. The White Star Line is in financial trouble due to the financial crisis of Olympic repairs. Construction of the Titanic has to be delayed due to Olympic repairs.

According to Robin Gardner, the White Star stopped building the Titanic to keep at least one ship navigable, repaired the Olympics and continued the Titanic. The original Titanic later sailed under the name of the Olympics. Except for the lifeboat, the signal bell and the nameplate, the ship's name was not written on any part and all other parts were interchangeable between the Titanic and the Olympics. In other words, the Olympics could easily have taken the place of the Titanic.

2) Kill the opponent with a cold head!

Among the passengers on the Titanic were some of the richest people in the world. Many of them such as John Jacob, Benjamin Guggenheim, Isidar Strauss were staunch opponents of the formation of the US Federal Reserve. All three died in the Titanic crash. According to researchers, the central bank's plan was the brainchild of JP Morgan, a well-known businessman, and he handed over the Titanic to those who opposed it. Morgan was an influential businessman who single-handedly saved the US banking system from the recession of 1908. His contributions led to the formation of corporations such as General Electric and U.S. Steel. A separate deck was set up for Morgan on his first voyage on the Titanic. But at the last minute he canceled his trip, sparking rumors of a conspiracy to assassinate wealthy rivals.

3) Waterproof door:

Impossible to sink the Titanic - the main reason for this claim was its fancy waterproof door, which has never been used on a ship before. If these doors were closed, the compartments of the Titanic would be completely separated from each other, so that even if one compartment was full of water, water could not enter the other compartment.

One theory claims that if the Titanic's doors were opened, water would be removed from the damaged compartments and the ship would remain afloat. As a result, the people in charge of the ship were given valuable time to ensure the safety of the passengers at that time. Titanic engineers did not have the ability to control the water level in any way.

In 1997, Discovery Channel produced a documentary entitled "Titanic: Secrets Revealed". Computer models there show that if the waterproof doors were opened, the Titanic would sink 1.30 hours earlier than it really is!

4) Coal powered engine:

Spontaneous combustion of coal from coal-fired ships often led to fires. It has been reported that a fire broke out in the coal mine 10 days before the start of the Titanic's voyage and this fire continues to burn even after the voyage started. The only way to extinguish this fire was to remove the ordinary coal and pour the burning coal into the boiler machine.

Many believe that the fire weakened the Titanic's steel structure. The weaker parts of the structure are more damaged by the impact of the ice. According to others, in order to control the coal fire, excess coal was poured into the Titanic's steam engine, causing the Titanic to run faster than normal. Titanic officials failed to control the direction despite an ice warning issued as a result of the extra speed.

5) Strange mummy and a coincidence of a match!

In these two theories, conspiracy is less and prejudice is more prevalent. According to a historian, the mummy of an Egyptian pharaoh was kept on the bridge of the Titanic. The mummy was supposed to be taken to the American Museum of Natural History. The mummy was cursed, so the last abode of the Titanic was at the bottom of the Atlantic - a handful of people believe.

In 1896, storyteller and novelist Morgan Robertson published a book. The title of the book is "Wreck of the Titan: Or, Futility". Surprisingly, the events described in the book coincide in many ways with the sinking of the Titanic. This suggests that Morgan Robertson already knew the consequences of the Titanic and warned everyone about it. A lawsuit was also filed against this author after the Titanic accident!

Controversy: Meanwhile, there is controversy over the Titanic and the Olympic ships. In fact, which ship sank in the accident that day. In 1999, 84-year-old Robin Gardiner of Oxford wrote his book, Titanic: The Ship that Never Sank? He claims that the Titanic never sank. And his claim is very much in line with the testimony of the surviving passengers of the so-called Titanic. It does not match the Titanic in any way. There is also further controversy that the Titanic sank due to the sailor's mistake, not due to negligence. Not only that, a similar warning was sent to Titanic from another ship called 'Mesaba'. . Jack Phillips and Harold Bridge were in charge of radio communication on the Titanic at the time. Twice the two of them found the warning unnecessary. So they did not send this warning to the Titanic's main control center. Just 40 minutes before the Titanic crash, Californian Sip radio operator contacted Titanic and wanted to talk about the iceberg, but Titanic's radio operator, the weary Jack Phillips, said angrily, "I'm busy with the Cape Race and cut the line." As a result, the Californian Sip's radio operator turned off his wireless and went to sleep. It is said that the Titanic sank because of their delusion.

Accident: The Titanic has just entered the heart of the silent Atlantic. Atlantic temperatures then dropped to near zero degrees. Although the sky was clear, the moon could not be seen in the sky. When the Titanic moves closer to the crash site. That's when the ship's captain gets an iceberg signal in front of him. Icebergs are huge icebergs floating in the ocean. Captain Smith came to the main control center and shut down the ship completely. The lifeboats started unloading after 12 o'clock at night. Every passenger gets on the life boat to save his life. But there were only 16 lifeboats. So the captain instructed - let the women and children get off first. That scene of leaving one's loved one in the face of certain death was horrible. The great irony of fate was the sight of a ship far from the control of the Titanic, whose identity is still shrouded in mystery. Some say it was Californian while others say it was Sampson. No response was received from the Titanic via wireless, but later attempts were made to contact the ship by launching a Morse Lamp and finally an emergency rocket, but the ship did not respond once. No one was able to respond in time to the Titanic's message asking for help. Because there was no one nearby.

The closest ship to the Titanic was The Carpathia. However, it will take 4 hours to reach the Titanic from the distance they were. The entire Titanic sank in the Atlantic between 2 and 2:20 p.m. At the last moment of the sinking, the ship's electrical connection was cut off. Which makes that environment even more heartbreaking. When the Titanic sank, an hour and 40 minutes later, at 4:10 pm, a ship called The Carpathia arrived. He rescued those who were floating in the sea and left for New York around 8:30 in the morning.

Unreasonable reason: Many people thought there was a curse on the Titanic. They cited the Titanic number 390904 as one of the reasons to prove this argument. Changing its reflection in water is no pope. It is also believed that the accident was caused by an initial collision with an iceberg. But there are many other stories. The most talked about story was reported by the Times on October 19, 1997. According to him, there was a cursed mummy of an Egyptian princess on the Titanic. It is said that the Titanic collided with a floating iceberg due to the curse of the mummy.

Many books have been written on whether the Titanic incident was true or false. The wreckage of the Titanic was found 13,000 meters below the surface of the place where the Titanic sank. Robert Ballard, a French scientist, wanted to find the Titanic from a young age. When he grew up, he started doing that. The mystery could not be revealed even after the search. In his poem Ozimandius, the English poet Shelley expresses his opinion about the sinking of the legendary Titanic ship as follows:

"Underneath the sea are scattered sand, silt, and coral reefs, the last vestiges of twentieth-century science and nature's egoism."

Many reports and films were made based on it after the sinking of the Titanic. None of that quenched the thirst of the Titanic. In 1997, film director James Cameron made the movie Titanic. It cost more than 200 million rupees to make this movie at that time. Many thought James Cameron was a fool. Because it is never possible to raise so much money. But where the time-honored Titanic is, this money is little. James Cameron's "Titanic" grossed about  1.835 billion (৮ 1,835 million) and broke all previous records, winning 11 other Oscars, including 11 Oscars.

The new Titanic is coming: -The new Titanic will float in the sea again in 2018. The new ship will be modeled on the original Titanic inside and out. A wealthy Australian businessman plans to build a second A Titanic. He has already signed an agreement with a Chinese shipbuilding company. Clive Palmer, a real estate and coal trader from Queensland, Australia, plans to build a second Titanic with the same look but sophisticated technology as the first Titanic. He founded a new shipping company called Blue Star Line to build the new ship. The planned new ship is named ‘Titanic Two’ or Second Titanic. Dozens of people from the United States, Britain, Asia and South America have started communicating in advance to take part in the first voyage of the Second Titanic. Some of them have offered to pay more than 1 million dollars. Like the first one, the new ship will have 9 floors and 640 rooms. The second one has four chimneys, just like the first, to emit smoke from a diesel-powered engine. However, its engine will be more modern. There are also some changes in the bottom of the ship. An exhibition room is being set up to attract tourists. Like the first Titanic, the second Titanic will be accompanied by a fleet of Chinese navies to avoid any accidents. Like the first, the second Titanic will sail from London to New York on the first voyage.
